Question:

What’s the ruling regarding democracy? Alongside proof.

May Allah reward you with good.

🔸Answer:

Democracy is disbelief.

As it means: people ruling themselves with neither the Book nor the Sunnah.

Allah The Most High said:

(إِنِ ٱلْحُكْمُ إِلَّا لِلَّه)

“The command (or the judgement) is for none but Allah”

[12:40]

And Allah also said:

(أَفَحُكْمَ ٱلْجَٰهِلِيَّةِ يَبْغُونَ ۚ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ حُكْمًا لِّقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ)

“Do they then seek the judgement of (the Days of) Ignorance? And who is better in judgement than Allah for a people who have firm Faith”
