Ruling on oral sex. Shaykh Muhammad ibn Hizām (english/arabic)

بســـم اللــه الرحــمــن الـرحـــيــم

Our Shaykh, Muhammad ibn Hizām -may Allāh preserve him- was asked the following question:

📩 Question:

What is the ruling on married couples pleasuring each other sexually via the mouth; some refer to it as 'oral sex'?

📝 Answer:

Verily, from the strangest of things is the need to ask the likes of these questions. 

Indeed, Allāh has honoured the son of Ādam and made his mouth to be from the most honorable of his limbs. In fact, He placed it on his face; the most honorable body part.

{وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا بَنِي آدَمَ وَحَمَلْنَاهُمْ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ} 

"And indeed We have honoured the Children of Ādam, and We have carried them on land and sea" 

{لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ} 

"Verily, We created man of the best stature (mould)" 

And despite the fact that Allāh has honoured the son of Ādam and placed his mouth on his face, he goes and puts his mouth in places of filth, and the woman likewise; she puts her mouth in a filthy place; we seek refuge in Allāh from this. 

This action is not allowed. It is prohibited, and it resembles the practise of the enemies of Islām. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever imitates a people, then he is from them." 

It also resembles the practise of the animals.

The enemies of Islām do not care about imitating animals; not in their eating, their lifestyle, nor in their social relations. As for the Muslim, then Allāh has honoured him and raised his rank, so he distances himself from imitating the animals. 

So, this is an animal act. It is from the practices of the dogs, monkeys, pigs, and the beasts. 

A Muslim must honour himself just as Allāh has honoured him and distance himself from this (filthy) place. 

Furthermore, it is a place of impurities and a place of filth. And the Prophet ﷺ commanded to clean the mouth with a siwāk, whereas this one goes and puts his mouth in places of filth and impurities!!!

Therefore, this action is prohibited. It is an imitation of the enemies of Islām. It also leads to transmission of viruses and harmful diseases, like mouth cancer and other than it, as many of the doctors have confirmed, and the Prophet ﷺ said: "There must be no harm caused to others or to oneself."

Likewise, Allāh said:

{وَلَا تُلْقُوا بِأَيْدِيكُمْ إِلَى التَّهْلُكَة} 

"And do not throw yourselves into destruction" 

One who engages in this is likewise imitating the beasts, whereas the Prophet ﷺ said: "We do not have a bad setting of example; the one who retracts a gift is like the dog who eats it's own vomit." 

So if this is the case of one who retracts his gift; that the Prophet ﷺ resembles him to a dog while prohibiting him from retracting his gift, then how about this practise which some people engage in due to them blind following the enemies of Islām through watching videos, TV series, looking at woman, looking at prohibited acts; watching ponrnography?! May Allāh protect us and you from that. 

It is incumbent upon a Muslim to distance himself from looking at women. 

{قُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَغُضُّوا مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِمْ وَيَحْفَظُوا فُرُوجَهُمْ ذَٰلِكَ أَزْكَىٰ لَهُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ} 

"Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc.). That is purer for them. Verily, Allāh is All-Aware of what they do."

{يَعْلَمُ خَائِنَةَ الْأَعْيُنِ وَمَا تُخْفِي الصُّدُورُ}

"Allāh knows the fraud of the eyes, and all that the breasts conceal."

Do not watch TV series, O gathering of Muslims. Do not watch videos, ponrnographic clips, nor look at indecent images; it is not allowed for you to do this. It is incumbent upon a Muslim to distance himself from that. May Allāh grant us and you success. Our Purification and cleanliness lies in acting by the legislation of Allāh. 

Allāh said:

{قُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَغُضُّوا مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِمْ وَيَحْفَظُوا فُرُوجَهُمْ ذَٰلِكَ أَزْكَىٰ لَهُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ وَقُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ يَغْضُضْنَ مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِنَّ وَيَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوجَهُنَّ} 

"Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc.). That is purer for them. Verily, Allah is All-Aware of what they do. And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc.)"

So do not become heedless, O Muslim. Do not look at what Allāh has prohibited for you to look at. Distance yourself from that. May Allāh grant us and you success, and praise be to Allāh, Lord of all the worlds.

📩 الســــــــؤال :- 

يقول السائل: ماحكم استمتاع الزوجين كل منهما بالآخر عن طريق الفم، ويسميه بعضهم ب(الجنس الفموي) ؟

📝 الإجــــــــــــابة :-

إن من العجب أن يُحتاج في زمن من الأزمان إلى السؤال عن مثل هذا، فالله سبحانه وتعالى قد أكرم ابن آدم وجعل فمه في أشرف الأعضاء، جعل فمه في وجهه أشرف الأعضاء {وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا بَنِي آدَمَ وَحَمَلْنَاهُمْ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ}[ الإسراء:٧٠]، {لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ}[ التنين:٤]، أكرم الله ابن آدم وجعل فمه في وجهه، أشرف الأعضاء الظاهرة من الإنسان وجهه، ثم هو يذهب ويضع فمه في أماكن مستقذرة أو المرأة تضع فمها في مكانٍ مستقذر نعوذ بالله، فهذا العمل لا يجوز، هذا العمل محرم وتشبه بأعداء الإسلام، والنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: (( من تشبه بقوم فهو منهم )) وتشبه بالحيوانات. أعداء الإسلام ما يبالون أن يتشبهوا بالحيوانات في مأكلهم في حياتهم ومعاشراتهم، يتشبهون بالحيوانات ما يبالون، أما المسلم فأعزه الله ورفع قدره فيبتعد عن التشبه بالحيوانات، فهذا من أعمال الحيوانات، من أعمال الكلاب، من أعمال القردة،من أعمال الخنازير، من أعمال البهائم ،فعلى المسلم أن يكرم نفسه كما أكرمه الله جل وعلا، وأن يبتعد عن هذا الموضع.

 ثم أيضا هوً موضع نجاسة مكان مستقذر ومكان نجاسة، والنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أمر بتطييب الفم بالسواك وهذا يذهب ويضع فمه في أماكن مستقذرة وفي أماكن نجسة!!! فهذا العمل محرم تشبه بأعداء الإسلام.

 وهذا الفعل أيضا يؤدي إلى انتقال الأمراض والفيروسات وأمراض خطيرة كسرطان الفم وغيره كما أثبت ذلك كثير من الأطباء. والنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: لا ضرر ولا ضرار. بل الله عز وجل يقول: ( ولا تلقوا بأيديكم إلى التهلكة ).

 وهو أيضا تشبه بالبهائم، والنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول (( ليس لنا مثل السوء مثل الذي يعود في هبته كالكلب يعود في قيئه)) إذا كان هذا في حق العود بالهبة شبهه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بالكلب وحرم عليه العود في هبته فكيف بهذا الصنيع الذي يصنعه بعض الناس الناتج عن تقليد أعداء الإسلام، الناتج عن النظر في فيديوهات والمسلسلات والنظر إلى النساء والنظر إلى الأعمال المحرمة والنظر إلى الأعمال الإباحية عافانا الله وإياكم من ذلك، وعلى هذا أيضاً فيجب على المسلم أن يبتعد عن النظر إلى النساء { قُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَغُضُّوا مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِمْ وَيَحْفَظُوا فُرُوجَهُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَزْكَىٰ لَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ}[ النور:٣٠]، {.يَعْلَمُ خَائِنَةَ الْأَعْيُنِ وَمَا تُخْفِي الصُّدُورُ}[ غافر:١٩]، {وَلَا تَقْفُ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۚ إِنَّ السَّمْعَ وَالْبَصَرَ وَالْفُؤَادَ كُلُّ أُولَٰئِكَ كَانَ عَنْهُ مَسْئُولًا}[ الإسراء:٣٦]، لا تنظروا إلى المسلسلات معشر المسلمين ولا إلى الفيديوهات ولا إلى المقاطع الإباحية ولا إلى العرايا حرام عليكم ذلك، يجب على المسلم أن يبتعد عن ذلك، وفقنا الله وإياكم، الزكاة لنا والطهارة لنا بالعمل بشرع الله سبحانه وتعالى { قُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَغُضُّوا مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِمْ وَيَحْفَظُوا فُرُوجَهُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَزْكَىٰ لَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ*وَقُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ يَغْضُضْنَ مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِنَّ وَيَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوجَهُنَّ[ النور:٣٠-٣١] وقال الله سبحانه وتعالى في كتابه الكريم {إِنَّ السَّمْعَ وَالْبَصَرَ وَالْفُؤَادَ كُلُّ أُولَٰئِكَ كَانَ عَنْهُ مَسْئُولًا}[ الإسراء:٣٦]، فلا تغفل أيها المسلم ولا تنظر إلى محرم الله وابتعد عن ذلك، وفقنا الله وإياكم، والحمد لله رب العالمين
