Is Salafiyyah a Hizb (sect). Shaykh Muhammad ibn Hizaam

📩 Question:

The questioner says: What's the respose to the one who says that Salafiis are a sect like any other sect? 

📝 Answer:

The Salafiis make up the party of Allah, as Allah - the mighty and majestic- says:

《أَلَا إِنَّ حِزْبَ اللَّهِ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ》

"Verily, it is the Party of Allah that will be the successful." 

Whoever adheres to the Salafi Da'wah; adheres to the truth and clings to the way of the Prophet ﷺ in accordance to what Allah willed, distances himself from innovations and newly invented affairs, the he is from the party of Allah. 

As far as them being an innovated sect or are a political movement, then this is false; since the leader of the Salafi Da'wah is none other than the prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Likewise, their creed is the true and correct creed based on the book of Allah and the sunnah of His messenger, in line with the understanding of the companions of the prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
