Is it legislated to congratulate (one another) for the entering of ramadhaan?
Congratulating for every delightful affair is legislated ◾️
Answered by our Shaykh, the 'Allāmah, the Trustworthy Advisor, Abu 'Abdirrahman Yahya bin 'Ali Al-Hajūri - may Allāh preserve him - on the 27th, Sha'bān, 1441H

Is it legislated to congratulate (one another) for the entering of ramadhaan?
📤Answer:
Yes, it is legislated to congratulate for every delightment, from eids, weddings, cheerful occasions, to be victorious of the enemy and everything which may be from the delightful affairs, then the muslim is to be congratulated over that (by saying):
"Congratulations, this is from the virtues of allah upon you"
And whatever is the likes of this,
"May Allah accept it from us and you, we Ask Allah that he makes it a blessed month"
All of these are considered as forms of congratulating.
